Arab League to send election observers to Jordan

The Arab League said it will send observers to monitor Jordan's parliamentary elections due to be held on September 10, upon a request by Independent Election Commission head Mousa Maytah. The participation stems from the Arab League's interest in electoral processes in member states and its keenness to enhance democracy and good governance, according to a league statement.
