Army Chief Discusses Latest Developments With French Delegation

Beirut: Lebanon's Army Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, on Friday received at his Yarzeh office, Advisor to the French President for Middle East and North Africa, Anne-Claire Legendre, in the presence of French Ambassador to Lebanon Herv© Magro, and member of cease-fire monitoring committee 'Mechanism', French General Valentin Seiler. During the meeting, the general situation in Lebanon and the latest developments in the region were discussed, as well as efforts to implement the cessation of hostilities agreement, in light of the ongoing Israeli attacks and violations.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region. Both parties acknowledged the challenges posed by the recent escalations and reiterated their commitment to working collaboratively towards a sustainable resolution. The delegation underscored France's continued support for Lebanon's sovereignty and its efforts to uphold international agreements.
