Beirut: Lebanon's Army Commander General Rudolph Haykal inspected several army units in Beirut and Sidon, reviewing the security measures in place within their areas of responsibility. The army commander addressed the soldiers, stressing "the necessity to maintain readiness to prevent any breach of security and to act firmly in the face of any attempt to undermine internal stability."
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Major General Haykal emphasized the importance of the army's role despite facing challenges. He stated, "Despite the rumors and incitement campaigns aimed at downplaying the sacrifices and efforts of military personnel, the army will not hesitate to fulfill its national responsibilities."
The army chief further urged the soldiers to remain steadfast in their duties. He added, "The soldiers should not be influenced by these rumors, but rather remain committed to their doctrine and to fulfilling their national duty."
