Beirut: Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, held significant discussions at his Yarze office with Dr. Amin Salam, the Caretaker Minister of Economy and Trade, addressing the pressing general situation of the country. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, General Aoun also met with Admiral Edward Ahlgren, the Senior Advisor to the UK Ministry of Defense for the Middle East and North Africa. The meeting was attended by UK Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell. The discussions reportedly centered around the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon and explored avenues for enhancing military cooperation between Lebanon and the United Kingdom.
