Army Chief Lays A Wreath On Martyrs’ Monument

Beirut: Marking the eighty-second anniversary of Lebanon's independence, Army Commander General Rudolph Haykal laid a wreath at the Army Martyrs Monument at the Ministry of National Defense, in a tribute honor to the souls of fallen martyrs and in appreciation of their great sacrifices in preserving Lebanon's unity, sovereignty and independence.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the ceremony was attended by military officials and families of the martyrs. The event was part of a series of commemorations organized to celebrate Lebanon's independence and to honor those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation. General Haykal's gesture was a symbolic reminder of the enduring respect and gratitude owed to the martyrs.
