Beirut: Lebanon's Army Commander General Rudolph Haykal, on Thursday received at his Yarzeh office, the Commander of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Major General Yousef Hneiti, with an accompanying delegation, upon an official invitation from the Army chief, in the presence of Jordan's Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Al-Hadid. During the meeting, discussions focused on ways to enhance cooperation between the armies of the two countries, as well as the significance of the initiatives undertaken by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in support of the army.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Major General Al-Hneiti affirmed his country's continued support for the Lebanese army to enhance its capability to carry out its missions, within the framework of the fraternal relations between the two nations. General Haykal also expressed his appreciation for this support, which encompasses various areas, given its contribution to strengthening the capabilities of the military institution as it carries out its missions across the country.
