Beirut: The Army Command has issued directives for military units stationed along the northern and eastern borders to respond to sources of fire originating from Syrian territory. This decision comes following recent incidents where multiple regions in Lebanon were targeted by shelling and gunfire.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Army Command's statement, relayed by the Orientation Directorate, emphasized that these orders are based on directives from the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun. The military units have been instructed to engage with appropriate weapons to counter the attacks.
