Army thwarts drone infiltration attempt into Jordan

The Southern Military Zone officers thwarted on Tuesday, within the zone's jurisdictions, an infiltration attempt by a drone that tried to cross into Jordanian territory, an official source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) said. According to the source, border guard personnel in the Southern Military Zone identified a drone attempting to breach the Jordanian border, which was dealt with according to the rules of engagement and shot down inside Jordanian territory.
