Army Unit Safely Dismantles Unexploded Bomb in Beirut’s Southern Suburbs

Beirut: In an issued statement by the Army Command Orientation Directorate, it indicated that "on June 7, 2026, a specialized army unit dismantled an unexploded guided aerial bomb, a remnant of the Israeli aggression, in the Mreijeh area of the southern suburbs of Beirut, and transported it to a secure location for further action."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Army Command emphasized the need to exercise extreme caution in areas that have been subjected to Israeli attacks and urged residents to report any suspicious objects to the nearest military center. The dismantling operation highlights ongoing efforts to mitigate risks posed by unexploded ordnance in conflict-affected regions.
