According to Jordan News Agency, the awards celebrate Ayla Golf Club's integration of sustainability in its operations, emphasizing its role as a pioneer in eco-friendly golfing. The club's achievements include being named the most sustainable 18-hole golf course in the region and the most sustainable desert golf course globally. It also received accolades for the most sustainable mountain golf course locally and the most sustainable championship golf course in the Middle East. These awards were the result of rigorous evaluations by expert committees that assessed the club's commitment to environmental conservation and its efforts to minimize carbon footprints. Ayla Golf Club, part of the Ayla Oasis Development Company, has been proactive in embedding sustainable practices into its vision and operations, setting a benchmark for t he industry. It features a sprawling 800,000 square meters area with 18 holes and a separate 9-hole course at its golf academy. Norman's design focuses on environmental harmony, integrating the natural desert landscape and ecological characteristics into the course layout, enhancing both aesthetic and functional qualities.
