Beirut: Lebanon's Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian on Friday received Sheikh Bahaa Hariri at Dar Al-Fatwa. Following the meeting, Hariri confirmed his permanent return to Beirut, stating that his visit to Dar Al-Fatwa was aimed at emphasizing the importance and symbolic value of this institution, which holds a special place in their hearts.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hariri expressed that the meeting with the Grand Mufti was very comfortable and went very well. He conveyed his wishes for the best for the country, underlining his commitment to Lebanon's future.
In response to inquiries about his potential participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections, Hariri mentioned that the matter is premature but expressed hope that whatever transpires will be for the best.
