Mukhtara: Former MP Bahia Hariri, leading a significant delegation from the Future Movement, visited the Mukhtara Palace to pay tribute to Martyr Leader Kamal Jumblatt on the 48th commemoration of his martyrdom. The visit was on behalf of former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, offering condolences to Jumblatt's family.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the delegation comprised former MPs Ghattas Khoury, Mohammad Hajjar, and Tarek Merhebi, along with several members from the Future Movement's political bureau. Representatives from coordination offices in Beirut, Bekaa, Tripoli, Akkar, South Mount Lebanon, Sidon, South, and Hasbaya-Marjayoun, as well as various religious and municipal figures, accompanied them.
They were received by the head of the Democratic Gathering, MP Taymour Jumblatt; Mrs. Nora Jumblatt and Mrs. Dalia Jumblatt; MPs Marwan Hamadeh and Bilal Abdallah; and the Secretary-General of the Progressive Socialist Party, Zafer Nasser. A brief reception in the outer courtyard preceded Hariri's visit to the tomb of Martyr Kamal Jumblatt and his companions, where floral wreaths were laid and prayers were offered.
In concluding the visit, Hariri expressed honor in joining leader Walid Jumblatt and Progressive Socialist Party head Taymour Jumblatt in commemorating the 48th anniversary of Martyr Kamal Jumblatt's assassination. She conveyed Prime Minister Saad Hariri's appreciation for the enduring friendship between Mukhtara and Martyr Prime Minister Rafic Hariri.
