Manama: Bahrain All Share Index closed at 2,045.38 points, marking an increase of 0.24 points above the previous closing. This upward movement was attributed to gains in the consumer discretionary and financials sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced an increase, closing at 998.25 points, which is 2.35 points higher than its previous closing. The trading session saw 79 equity transactions with a volume of 2,304,329 shares, amounting to BHD 691,967.
The financials sector was the focus of investors, accounting for 63.39% of the total value of securities traded.
