Beirut: Acting Director General of the General Security, Major General Elias Baissari, inaugurated the General Security Directorate's newly completed garage in Al-Abed Square, Beirut. The completion of this project was made possible through infrastructure works funded by the German Police.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of notable figures, including German Ambassador to Lebanon Kurt Georg Stoeckl-Stillfried and the German Federal Police Attach©. A number of Lebanon's General Security officers were also in attendance, marking the significance of the collaboration between the two nations.
During the ceremony, Major General Baissari presented the German Ambassador with a shield of appreciation, expressing gratitude for Germany's support and assistance in the project. The gesture highlighted the strengthening ties between Lebanon and Germany, particularly in the realm of security infrastructure development.
