Beirut: A workshop on children's media exposure, organized by the Beirut Bar Association's Newsletter and Media Committee along with the Juvenile Affairs and Child Rights Committee, was held today at Beit Al-Mouhami. Titled "Risks and Responsibilities of Children's Media Exposure," the event aimed to address crucial issues surrounding children's interaction with media in contemporary society.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the workshop provided a platform for discussing the impact of media on children and the responsibilities of various stakeholders in safeguarding children's rights. The event attracted legal experts, child rights advocates, and media professionals, all of whom shared insights on managing media exposure among young audiences.
Concurrently, a roundtable on public finance reforms in Lebanon took place at the €š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬°cole Sup©rieure des Affaires. Finance Minister Yassine Jaber and Parliamentary Finance and Budget Committee Chair Ibrahim Kanaan were among the key speakers. The session focused on the challenges and prospects of implementing effective financial reforms in the country, engaging MPs, administrators, academics, and legal experts in the dialogue.
In other events, Minister of Justice Adel Nassar welcomed Jordanian Ambassador Walid Al-Hadid at his ministry office, fostering diplomatic relations between the two nations. Meanwhile, the Jaafari Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan delivered his Ramadan message from Imam Hussein Mosque in Bourj Al Barajneh, addressing a wide audience.
The Hezbollah leadership, along with the families of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi Al-Din, received condolences at the Baalbek Union of Municipalities Building, reflecting the ongoing communal and political engagements in the region.
Later in the day, the Association of Friends of White Knowledge - Esoteric Science held a lecture on "The Concept of Practical Application from the Perspective of Esoteric Science" at the Esoteric Science Center. This event aimed to explore esoteric sciences and their practical applications, drawing interest from attendees curious about alternative scientific perspectives.
