Beirut: Beirut Governor has proposed naming one street in Ras Beirut after the late artist Ziad Rahbani and another in Ain El Mreisseh after the late artist Ahmad Kaabour. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Abboud submitted the proposals to the President of the Beirut Municipal Council for consideration and approval. The initiative aims to honor two prominent artistic and cultural figures who left a lasting mark on Lebanon's modern history, in recognition of their significant contributions to the country's cultural, artistic, and national life.
