Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri met with Qatari Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, and his delegation at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. The meeting included the presence of Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, and Speaker Berri's Media Advisor Ali Hamdan. Discussions focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and the broader region, as well as the bilateral ties between Lebanon and Qatar.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri conveyed gratitude to Minister Al-Khulaifi and his delegation for Qatar's unwavering support for Lebanon. He highlighted Qatar's assistance to the Lebanese army and their contribution to rebuilding efforts in Lebanon following the ongoing Israeli aggression.
In a separate meeting, Speaker Berri also received Imad Martinos, head of the Beirut Bar Association, at Ain al-Tineh. Their discussions centered on the general situation and the work programs of the Bar Association for the current and upcoming phases.
