Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri, on Thursday, received Mohammad El-Hout, Chairman and Director General of Middle East Airlines (MEA), at the second presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh. El-Hout provided an update on the airline's operations amidst the prevailing conditions.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri also met with MP Halima Kaakour to discuss the general situation and the latest political and field developments, particularly in the context of Israel's ongoing actions against Lebanon. The conversation also covered legislative matters.
Additionally, Berri held talks with Talal Arslan, former Minister and leader of the Lebanese Democratic Party, accompanied by former minister Saleh Gharib. The discussions focused on the current political and field developments and broader national concerns.
