Berri: Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, on Tuesday responded to MP Georges Adwan on issues related to the ceasefire agreement and UN Security Council Resolution 1701, saying: "Lebanon has fully met its obligations, but Israel has not complied with anything."
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri emphasized that Lebanon has adhered to all agreements and commitments under the UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which was intended to resolve conflict and maintain peace. However, he pointed out that Israel has not upheld its part of the agreement.
The Speaker's remarks came during a session where issues of national security and international compliance were discussed, highlighting ongoing tensions and the need for adherence to international agreements. Berri's statement reflects Lebanon's position on the lack of reciprocity from Israel in fulfilling the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
