Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri on Wednesday received a delegation representing Lebanon's professional orders at Ain El-Tineh, in the presence of Amal Movement's head of professional syndicates affairs, Dr. Mahdi Ayoub. Discussions focused on developments in Lebanon, the impact of ongoing Israeli attacks on various sectors and professional affairs.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, speaking on behalf of the delegation, Beirut Bar Association President Imad Martinos stressed the need for Lebanese citizens to rally around state institutions and work collectively to overcome the current crisis. He called for a national dialogue initiative aimed at unifying efforts and reinforcing national responsibilities.
Martinos condemned the continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon, describing them as violations of international law that have inflicted heavy human and material losses. He also reaffirmed the professional orders' support for state institutions, national unity, and the Lebanese Army, expressing confidence in Lebanon's ability to navigate the current challenges and move toward stability and recovery.
