Berri Meets UN Peacekeeping Chief, UN Special Coordinator, US Ambassador Amid Rising Tensions.

Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri on Thursday hosted Jean-Pierre Lacroix, UN Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, at the Second Presidency in Ain al-Tineh. The meeting, attended by UNIFIL Commander General Aroldo Lázaro and Berri's media advisor Ali Hamdan, focused on the escalating Israeli aggression against Lebanon and the operational role of UNIFIL in the region. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri also met with the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert. Their discussions centered on the latest political and security developments in Lebanon. Berri further received US Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson, with whom he addressed ongoing political challenges and regional tensions.
