Beirut:House Speaker Nabih Berri has summoned several parliamentary committees to convene in a joint session.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the committees involved are Finance and Budget; Administration and Justice; Foreign Affairs and Emigrants; Public Works, Transport, Energy and Water; Public Health, Labor and Social Affairs; Education, Higher Education and Culture; and Environment and Information Technology.
The meeting is set for 1100 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, and will focus on examining eight draft laws and legislative proposals listed on the agenda.
