Beirut: Speaker of the House Nabih Berri on Wednesday met at Ain al-Tineh headquarters with Abdulaziz Al-Mulla, Executive Director at the World Bank Group, in the presence of Finance Minister Yassine Jaber. Discussions focused on Lebanon's overall situation and ongoing cooperation programs between Lebanon and the World Bank, particularly in relation to the national reconstruction file.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri also received Dr. Mohammad Sammak, Secretary-General of the National Islamic-Christian Dialogue Committee, and Salah Salam, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Liwaa newspaper. The talks centered on interfaith dialogue and current national affairs, highlighting the importance of collaboration across different faiths.
Later in the day, Berri met with MP Dr. Imad Al-Hout to review legislative matters and general developments in the country. The meetings underscored the dynamic political and economic discussions taking place in Lebanon as the nation seeks to address various challenges.
