Bisat Launches Advanced Digitization of Ministry Services

Beirut: Minister of Economy and Trade, Amer Bisat, on Thursday announced the launch of an advanced phase of digitizing the services of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, in a move aimed at facilitating procedures, reducing time and administrative costs, and enhancing transparency.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, a wide range of services are now fully available online, including consumer complaints, professional services related to fuel stations, tanker services, requests for re-analysis of goods, customs declaration procedures, as well as services linked to commercial institutions, publishing houses, and exhibitions.

Moreover, Bisat called on citizens and stakeholders to submit applications exclusively through the ministry's electronic platforms and announced that intellectual property services will be fully digitized during the first quarter of 2026. Bisat added that as of February 1, 2026, electronic submission will become mandatory for all these services.

The Minister finally reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to modernizing its services and improving the citizen experience, urging wider use of digital tools.
