Bloodbath in Jabalia: 150 Civilians Killed and Injured as Israeli Warplanes Attack Residential Complex

JABALIA: In a significant escalation of violence in northern Gaza, an Israeli airstrike on a residential complex in the Jabalia refugee camp resulted in approximately 150 civilian casualties, including women and children. The attack, which took place this evening, has intensified the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted at least ten homes in the Al-Houja area of Jabalia. The airstrike led to numerous civilian casualties and widespread destruction, affecting families such as the Najjar, Abu Al-Ouf, Salman, Hijazi, Abu Qumsan, Aql, Abu Rashid, Abu Tarabish, Zaqoul, and Sha’lan. The residents urgently called for assistance to help transport the wounded, but rescue efforts were hampered by the continuous attacks from Israeli forces.

This incident comes amid a broader Israeli military operation that began intensifying on October 5, 2024, involving both ground invasions and air bombardments aimed at displacin
g the local population in northern Gaza. Since the onset of the aggression in October 2023, there have been at least 42,847 documented fatalities among Palestinians, with over 100,544 individuals injured. Thousands are feared trapped under debris, with rescue operations severely hindered by ongoing hostilities.

Despite international pleas for peace, including calls from the United Nations Security Council for a ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice to prevent genocide, the conflict persists. The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains dire, exacerbated by the continued military actions.
