Bou Habib Engages with Hungarian and Polish Ambassadors on Bilateral Relations.

Beirut: Caretaker Foreign Minister, Abdallah Bou Habib, on Wednesday held separate meetings with the Hungarian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ferenc Csillag, and Poland's newly appointed Ambassador, Aleksandra Bukowska-McCabe, where discussions centered around bilateral relations and regional developments. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during the meeting with Ambassador Csillag, the focus was on enhancing bilateral ties, understanding the latest developments in Lebanon, the region, and globally, and discussing Hungary's role under its current presidency of the EU Council. Minister Bou Habib emphasized Lebanon's humanitarian challenges due to regional conflicts and explored potential support from Hungary. In a courtesy visit marking the start of her tenure, Ambassador Bukowska-McCabe was greeted with Minister Bou Habib's best wishes for success. The Foreign Minister assured Lebanon's readiness to bolster efforts to strengthen historic ties and deepen mutual cooperation between Lebanon and Poland. Furt hermore, Minister Bou Habib expressed appreciation for Poland's support of a UNESCO resolution that offers enhanced protection to Lebanon's cultural heritage during armed conflicts, restricting any damage to its cultural assets.
