Cabinet Session Begins at Grand Serail with Moment of Silence for Bint Jbeil Martyrs

Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam is currently presiding over a Cabinet session at the Grand Serail. The session is attended by Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri, along with several key ministers, including Finance Minister Yassin Jaber, Culture Minister Ghassan Salameh, and Defense Minister Major General Michel Menassa, among others.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the session commenced with a solemn minute of silence in memory of the martyrs from Bint Jbeil. Alongside the ministers, the meeting is attended by the Director-General of the Presidency, Dr. Antoine Choucair, and the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Judge Mahmoud Makkieh.

The gathering includes ministers from various portfolios such as Energy and Water, Trade and Economy, Tourism, Social Affairs, and others, highlighting the broad range of issues likely to be discussed. The observance of silence underscores the government's acknowledgment of recent events impacting the nation.
