Baabda: The Council of Ministers convened on Monday in a regular session at the Baabda Presidential Palace, chaired by President General Joseph Aoun. The session was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam and various ministers.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the cabinet is set to discuss a ten-item agenda. A significant focus of the session is the Lebanese Army's first monthly report on its plan to monopolize arms. Additionally, the agenda comprises urgent matters that require the council's immediate attention and appropriate decisions.
Before the session, President Aoun and Prime Minister Salam held a meeting to discuss the latest developments. This meeting aimed to align their perspectives ahead of the broader cabinet discussions.
