Calls to Border Area Residents’ Phones Urging Them Not to Return


Nabatieh: This morning, many displaced residents of the border areas in the Nabatieh region received calls on their phones from multiple international numbers. An enemy army spokesman, speaking in a broken Arabic dialect, asked the residents not to return to their towns tomorrow, Sunday, and warned them against doing so.



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, these calls have sparked concern among the residents who have been displaced from their homes due to ongoing tensions in the region. The message delivered in the calls was clear in its intent to prevent any return to the affected areas.



The residents, already facing significant challenges due to their displacement, are now confronted with the added pressure of these warnings. The situation remains tense as many await further instructions and hope for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict.
