Syrian Arab Army brings in new reinforcements to Daraa al-Balad as terrorists refuse settlement efforts

Daraa, After  one month of  settlement efforts to end the control of  terrorists over civilians in Daraa al-Balad and to give the priority to preserving the bloods of locals and maintaining the safety and security ,the terrorists groups still insist to refuse  the settlement and hand over their weapons  based on external  support to foil  all the efforts exerted  by the government.

In light of that  situation , the Syrian Arab Army brought in military reinforcements during the few past hours with the aim of expelling the terrorists who refuse the efforts of settlement in Daraa al-Balad and Tariq al-Sad neighborhood and refuse to hand over all weapons they possess.

Field sources in Daraa told SANA reporter  that the terrorist groups spread in Daraa al-Balad deliberately hinder the settlement and reinforce their positions taking advantage from the period of settlement efforts to prepare for launching attacks through their tools on areas in the province and on the Army points along with restoring their weapons hidden underground which were supposed to be previously  handed over to the Army.

The sources referred that the stubbornness  of the terrorist groups comes as a result of the statements issued by some Western states that support terrorists and the Israeli repeated aggressions on Syria in an attempt to boost the morale of the terrorists.

BERRI CONDEMNS ISRAELI EXPLOITATION OF LEBANESE AIRSPACE TO TARGET SYRIA

House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Friday condemned an airstrike the Israeli enemy had carried out on Syria using Lebanon’s skies.

“Not only is last night’s Zionist exploitation of the Lebanese airspace sovereignty and its usage once again as a podium to launch attacks on sisterly Syria — threatening the safety of civil aviation from and to Rafik Hariri international airport — a blatant violation of (UN) resolution 1701, but also an unspeakable hostility against both Lebanon and Syria,” said Berri.

“We call the international community for a swift action to take the necessary measures to curb the Israeli entity’s acts of aggression towards Lebanon and the region,” he added.

AKAR CONDEMNS ISRAELI BREACH: UN MUST DETER ISRAEL FROM USING LEBANESE AIRSPACE TO CARRY OUT ATTACKS

Vice Prime Minister, Caretaker Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Zeina Akar, on Friday vehemently condemned in a statement last night’s Israeli attacks and violations of Lebanon’s airspace.

Last night, Israeli enemy planes carried out low altitude overflights over Lebanon at 11:40 pm, during which they launched missiles from Lebanon’s airspace and targeted Syria, sparking a state of panic among Lebanese citizens.

“This incident constituted a direct and serious threat to the Lebanese navigation movement and to the safety of civil aviation, as it violated the airspace adjacent to Beirut Airport and was in direct contact with the civil aviation line,” Akar said.

The Caretaker Minister also stressed that this also constituted a flagrant violation of international resolutions, especially Resolution 1701, let alone a threat to security, stability, and peace in Lebanon, and most importantly a violation of Lebanese sovereignty.

Consequently, Minister Akar has sent a complaint through Lebanon’s representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Amal Mudallali, regarding the aforementioned Israeli violations.

“The United Nations is urgently called forth to deter Israel from committing these violations again and using the Lebanese airspace to carry out its attacks against Syrian territory,” Akar’s statement concluded.
