Beirut: In the presence of Finance Minister Yassine Jaber and Central Bank Governor Karim Saiid, the four newly appointed deputy governors took the oath of office before President Joseph Aoun. The deputies are Wassim Mansouri (First Vice-Governor), Makram Bou Nassar (Second), Salim Shahin (Third), and Gaby Chinouzian (Fourth).
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Chairman of the Banking Control Commission Mazen Soueid and commission members Rabih Nehmeh, Nader Haddad, Tania Kellab, and Aline Spiro also took the oath before President Aoun. President Aoun emphasized the crucial role these officials will play in Lebanon's ongoing financial and economic reform efforts. He urged them to work with unity, prioritize the national interest over sectarian or political considerations, and make decisions that benefit all Lebanese citizens.
The President reiterated that these appointments represented a vital step in restoring public trust and reforming key institutions. He stressed that effective governance must be rooted in professionalism, transparency, and a collective commitment to national recovery.
