Beirut: Head of the Lebanese Economic Committees, former minister Mohammad Choucair, on Tuesday welcomed the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Lebanon, Walid Al-Hadid, at the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber headquarters.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, discussions during the visit touched on ways to develop bilateral economic relations and enhance cooperation between the Lebanese and Jordanian private sectors. Choucair welcomed Ambassador Al-Hadid, acknowledging the fraternal and historical relations between Lebanon and Jordan, and emphasized the Lebanese economic bodies and the private sector's interest in developing economic relations between the two countries.
In turn, Ambassador Al-Hadid expressed appreciation for "the depth and strength of the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries," and reiterated Jordan's ongoing support for Lebanon in achieving stability, progress, and prosperity.
