Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh Hefni Sunday discussed with Airports Council International Africa (ACI Africa) President Emanuel Chaves and ACI Africa Secretary General Ali Tounsi means of fostering cooperation between Egypt and African airports along with exchanging know-how in the aviation domain. The meeting, which took place on the fringe of the Egypt International Airshow 2024, reviewed state-of-the-art technologies and innovations in the aviation sector as well as ways of capitalising on the Egyptian expertise in upgrading the airport sector across the African continent. The minister affirmed Egypt's keenness on boosting co-operation with African nations in various domains, especially in the civil aviation sector that has witnessed a notable development recently. ACI Africa head praised Egypt's efforts to modernise the civil aviation sector, underscoring the importance of cooperation between African countries to achieve integration in this vital domain. ACI Africa, the international associ ation of African airports, seeks to advance the interests of African airports and promote professional excellence in management and operations on the African continent.
