Beirut: Lebanon is set for stable and warmer weather on Sunday, according to the Meteorology Department at Beirut Airport. The impact of the recent low-pressure weather will gradually ease starting Saturday afternoon, with conditions stabilizing Sunday as warm air masses affect the region. Temperatures are expected to rise above seasonal averages, reaching up to 27°C on the coast by Monday. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, a fast-moving low-pressure weather system is forecast to affect Lebanon early Wednesday, bringing rainy and windy conditions. The temperature overview for the weekend indicates a significant rise, with coastal areas experiencing temperatures between 10°C and 27°C, mountainous areas between 8°C and 20°C, and inland regions between 8°C and 19°C. These temperatures surpass the seasonal averages for February, which are typically between 11°C to 19°C in Beirut, 9°C to 18°C in Tripoli, and 3°C to 13°C in Zahle. Winds will be active southwesterly during the day, ranging from 20-50 km /h, and will shift to light southeasterly at night. Visibility is generally poor due to fog and earlier heavy rainfall but is expected to improve in the afternoon. Humidity along the coast will vary between 50% and 80%, while sea conditions will be rough in the morning, becoming moderate by the afternoon. The sea surface temperature will be around 19°C, with atmospheric pressure at 1016 hPa (762 mmHg). Sunrise and sunset are at 6:25 AM and 5:20 PM, respectively.
