The death toll from intensified Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon on Monday rose to 274, Lebanese Health Minister, Feras Abyad said. He told journalists that at least 1,024 people were wounded in the raids, and that even hospitals, medical centers and ambulances were targeted. The international force in southern Lebanon UNIFIL, in a statement, expressed concern for the safety of civilians as Israel launched the most intense bombing campaign in Lebanon since October.
