Gaza City: Medical sources announced on Sunday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 50,695, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the same sources added that the number of injuries has reached 115,338 since the beginning of the aggression. A number of victims remain trapped under the rubble, inaccessible to ambulances and civil defense crews.
Furthermore, the sources reported that 26 fatalities and 113 injuries were recorded in Gaza Strip hospitals over the past 24 hours. The total number of fatalities and injuries since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, stands at 1,335 fatalities and 3,297 injuries.
