Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Diriyah Company, welcomed HRH Prince William, the Prince of Wales, to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At-Turaif. This historic site, the birthplace of the First Saudi State, is located in Diriyah, the City of Earth, on the outskirts of Riyadh. At-Turaif is recognized as a transformative destination, representing Saudi Arabia's heritage and its ambitions for the future.

According to Diriyah Company, Group CEO Jerry Inzerillo expressed that the visit signifies the strong relations between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. He emphasized the honor of hosting HRH Prince William in the historic At-Turaif district, a key element of the Diriyah Project and one of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 initiatives. Inzerillo highlighted the significance of celebrating the past while preparing for the future, and the opportunity to share the extensive history of At-Turaif with Prince William.

Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 aligns with the principles of Prince William's Earthshot prize, launched in 2020. Diriyah Company's Wadi Safar masterplan is dedicated to biodiversity and sustainability, contributing to the shared goals of the Earthshot initiative.
