Beirut: Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salam©, recently met with the President of the “Theater of Tomorrow” Association, Najwa Bassil, at the National Library in Sanayeh. Bassil, accompanied by association members Bushra Shahin, Siham Al-Ashi, Reem Al-Hashem, and Ghida Farjan Baz, presented the proposal for the inaugural “Echoes of Theater” festival in Byblos.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the festival is set to take place from July 18 to 21 and will be open to audiences of all ages, with a special performance for children scheduled for Sunday. Bassil discussed the potential for making the festival an annual event, featuring activities for young people in theater studios and awarding a prize to theater students. The aim is to expand the festival beyond Byblos to include cities within its district.
