Beirut: Education Minister Rima Karami on Wednesday received a delegation from Al Irfan Schools in recognition of their students' achievements at the I Wise international competition held in Dubai, where they won first-place rankings and gold medals for robotics, artificial intelligence, and other academic and cultural projects among participants from around 24 countries. The delegation included school officials, advisers, programme directors, the winning students, and their coaches.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Karami praised the students' and trainers' efforts, reaffirming her support for educational initiatives that promote excellence and innovation. She emphasized that the sustainability of the Lebanese state depended on the success of its education sector. Karami also commended Al Irfan Schools for their contribution to achieving educational and ethical objectives while enhancing Lebanon's presence in international academic competitions.
