Egyptian weightlifter Fatima Mahrous won the 67 kg silver medal at the Paris Paralympic Games 2024, which is being held from August 28 to September 8. Mahrous succeeded in lifting 130 kg in the first attempt, in the second she raised 134 kg, and in the third attempt she raised 139 kg. Thus, Egypt raises its balance at four medals with two gold, silver and bronze, as Mohamed al Minyawi and Rehab Radwan were crowned two weightlifting gold, and bronze in volleyball. Egypt is participating in the Games with a delegation of 54 athletes representing 10 sports: Paralympic weightlifting, Paralympic athletics, sitting volleyball, goal-ball, Paralympic swimming, Paralympic table tennis, parataekwondo, boccia, Paralympic rowing, and para-cycling.
