Cairo: His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, received Massad Boulos, Senior Adviser to the President of the United States for Arab and African Affairs, who is currently visiting Cairo, to discuss means to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries across various domains.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Egyptian Presidency's spokesperson said the meeting addressed a number of issues of shared interest, including Egypt's water security, as well as regional developments, particularly the situation in Sudan.
The discussions underscored the importance of de-escalation and support for political solutions to regional crises.
