Egypt’s Mufti Stresses Human Dialogue as Path to Global Peace

In his keynote speech at the Muslim International Forum in Moscow, Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Nazir Ayyad, underscored the importance of human dialogue as an essential means for achieving peaceful coexistence on a global scale. He advocated for replacing conflict with constructive communication, emphasizing the role of both humanity and religion in promoting dialogue. Drawing on Islamic teachings, Dr. Ayyad highlighted the values of mutual understanding, cooperation, and respect for diversity. He cited historical examples, including the Prophet's efforts to foster peaceful coexistence. Dr. Ayad also commended Dar Al-Ifta's initiatives in promoting moderate fatwas, combating extremism, and encouraging international dialogue.
