Beirut: Former Minister Wadih El-Khazen has echoed Speaker Nabih Berri's concerns about the escalating situation in southern Lebanon, following the launch of rockets from an unidentified source in the area. El-Khazen emphasized the need for national unity to prevent any attempts to destabilize the country's security.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, El-Khazen issued a statement reiterating Berri's position that Israel stands as the principal beneficiary of the fabricated security tensions in the south. He claimed that Israel aims to exploit these events to further its strategic objectives, either by justifying its continuous attacks or by seeking to establish a new reality that aligns with its interests.
El-Khazen highlighted that addressing these developments demands national awareness and wise decisions to thwart any attempts at destabilizing Lebanon's security and stability.
