El-Sisi visits UAE’s pavilion at Egypt International Airshow


NEW ALAMEIN: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt toured the UAE pavilion at the Egypt International Airshow 2024, which commenced today in its inaugural edition in New Alamein City.

The expo features participation from 100 countries and over 300 companies and entities, including some of the world’s largest aircraft manufacturers and space industries, and will run for three days.

During his visit to the UAE pavilion, President El-Sisi listened to a briefing by Mona Ahmed Al Jaber, Chairperson of the Emirates Defence Companies Council, who highlighted the UAE pavilion’s offerings through more than nine companies showcasing over 50 Emirati products under the “Made in UAE” brand, including unmanned aerial vehicles like the Shadow 50 and the “Garmoosha”, which means female falcon.

President El-Sisi, accompanied by several officials, also visited the pavilions and displays of the national and international companies participating in the event.

He reviewed various models of civilian and
military aircraft on display, which were lined up on the grounds of El Alamein International Airport.

President El-Sisi and other guests witnessed an airshow at El Alamein International Airport, attended by ministers, state officials, and representatives of participating companies and countries.

The airshow featured performances by the Egyptian aerobatic team “Silver Stars”, a solo air display by The Rafale jet, and a solo performance by the UAE’s Mirage 2000 aircraft.
