HEBRON: An elderly from the town of ad-Dhahiriya south of Hebron was kidnapped and severely beaten up by extremist Israeli colonists on Sunday. According to local sources, a group of colonists kidnapped and beat up a 68-year-old man who was identified as Baji Salem Abu Sharakh while he was grazing his sheep in the al-Tarayan area in the said town. Locals began to search for the missing elderly immediately following his abduction by the colonists. However, the Israeli army arrived at the scene and released the elderly man. Colonists' violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023. The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned. Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
