Fatah Expresses Grief Over Death of Hamas Political Leader Yahya Sinwar

RAMALLAH: The Palestinian National Liberation Movement, commonly known as Fatah, has publicly mourned the loss of Yahya Sinwar, who served as the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement. Sinwar's death has sparked a wave of condolences across Palestinian territories. According to Maan News Agency, Fatah issued a statement through its Information, Culture and Intellectual Mobilization Commission on Friday, condemning the acts of violence perpetrated by what it termed the "occupation government." The statement asserted that such policies of aggression would fail to undermine the Palestinian people's determination to attain their legitimate national rights to freedom and independence. The statement also called for the Palestinian populace to come together in solidarity at this challenging juncture. It emphasized the importance of reinforcing resilience, opposing any plots aimed at undermining their cause, and maintaining the political and geographical unity of Palestinian territories, including the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, as a single, inseparable entity. Fatah extended heartfelt condolences to the Palestinian people, the Hamas movement, and the family of the deceased Yahya Sinwar, signaling a momentary unity among Palestinian factions in the face of adversity.
