Fires Erupt in Deir Mimes Due to Artillery Shelling

Beirut: Intermittent Israeli artillery shelling, continuing from the morning hours until now, has caused fires to break out in the outskirts of the town of Deir Mimes. The fires have extended from the course of the Litani River all the way to the forest located under the Morqus station in the town.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the fire is expanding into the forest areas and surrounding lands. Efforts to control the blaze are facing challenges due to the ongoing bombing and field conditions in the area. The situation remains critical as the fires continue to spread, threatening more land and requiring urgent attention to prevent further damage.
