Beirut: The Higher Relief Commission announced the arrival of the first convoy of humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates, comprising 29 trucks that entered Lebanon through the Masnaa border crossing under directives from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the aid was coordinated by the UAE Aid Agency and Lebanon's Higher Relief Commission, including food and essential relief supplies for those affected. UAE Aid Agency Chairman Tareq Ahmed Al Ameri stated that the assistance reflects the UAE's commitment to supporting communities during crises. Lebanese Ambassador to the UAE Tarek Hassan Mneimneh and Higher Relief Commission Secretary-General Brig. Gen. Bassam Nabulsi expressed their gratitude to the UAE for its continued support for Lebanon.
