Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty reiterated, on Sunday 25-08-2024, the constants of Egyptian stance towards regional and international issues, referring to the important role played by Egypt in the region and towards international issues of top priority to the country's foreign policy. Abdelatty made the remarks during his meeting with representatives of Japanese media outlets on the sidelines of his participation in the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD). He underlined Egypt and Japan's keenness on developing bilateral relations especially after relations between them were upgraded to strategic partnership in 2023. He expressed hope that Japan would take part by a high-level delegation in the official inauguration of Grand Egyptian Museum, one of the fruits of cooperation between the two countries.
