Baabda: Israeli airstrikes earlier on Thursday killed several people in separate attacks in south Lebanon and Beddawi. In the town of Kfour, an airstrike at dawn killed the town's mukhtar, Tawfiq Safa, and his wife after their home was targeted. Rescue teams worked to recover their bodies from beneath the rubble.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in a separate strike, a hostile drone targeted the home of Hamas official Wasim Attallah Al-Ali in the Beddawi Palestinian camp near the Khalil al-Rahman mosque, killing him and his wife. One of their daughters was wounded and transferred to Al-Hilal Hospital inside the camp for treatment.
The camp witnessed protest marches at dawn condemning the attack.
